Moving Widget

Post by alfa » Thu Jan 29, 2009 3:59 am

I have try to find a way to make a widget spawn moving. But I can only switch it on 2 location (if I correctly understand the way it work)

My problem is I have a rock concidering as a widget spawn and it should moving arround a plateform, I have try to make a spawn script and set it to the spawn group ID but nothing happend, not moving at all.

I see the rock at original place, when I go on seem to resend me spawn at the location in DB so rock switch place but stay here not moving, so there is a way to make a "Spawn Script" and set it to a widget spawn ? Or there is a way to set a loop of location to it ?

(Once again sorry for my very very bad English, hope you can understand me ^^ ) When back home I will post some screen for help you to understand what I mean

you want some kind of platform, which you can spawn/despawn, and set to follow a movement path. In this case, it looks like a rock. Possibly the ability to control start/stop of this too.
I suppose another example of this would be the acorn lifts at kelethin, which need to move up and down. Possibly griffins, horses, clouds in sky, carpets in deserts, those flying sokokar things in chardok, and so on would be the same thing too, although in those cases the character might need to be set to some kind of animation mode, for ride, "magic carpet" mode, etc.

Oh, and that round platform on one of the islands in sky too. Wherever that was, you manually trigger it to float to the other island with you on it.

Does the rock move even when you are not in the zone to see it?
