1) You need to edit world_db.ini with the database information you created.
2) You need to edit Loginserver.ini and fill in the steps that it asks.
If you're on a router, go to whatismyip.com for the external IP.
Internal IP can be left blank or localhost.

Anything else i could try?
[EDIT]
Can you give me a link for a tut that tells me what to do if i want to play on someone elses server? [Tess] or one of the ones up? thanks :p
[EDIT]
Ok iv found one :p http://eq2emulator.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=117
Just making a backup of EQ2.
How do i do this part?
Step 4. Modify your eq2_default.ini to connect to eq2emulator.net
Can you paste what yours looks like? I thought of just adding "eq2emulator.net" over the two "everquest2.com", so it looks like this.
cl_ls_address ableq2-04-01.eq2emulator.net amseq2-03-01.eq2emulator.net
Is that right?
[EDIT]
Ok lol im an ass, got it now, do you know where theres an item ID list for the items?, looked in the binary but cant seem to see anything :) Thanks :D

Glad to hear you worked it out. :)
Search around a little, there's a few projects in the works for zones/items lists already. It's early work yet, but at least you can look around.
Plus, I think there is an ability to find items in-game by name in the latest binary.
