If you go linkdead you are able to stay in the group - not sure how much time 2 minutes sounds reasonable. You stay in the group as long as your client stays in the game as linkdead.

Yeah as Image stated above, when the client is removed, he is also removed from the group. However, when you go linkdead, while that timer is running, the client is still in the game with the <Linkdead> tag over their head. After the 2 minute timer is up, the client is removed from game and group. If the client logs back in before the timer expires, the <Linkdead> tag is removed.

OK, I have went ahead and uploaded a test version of the group code. it is still a work in progress as I need to fix the right click menus and rework the LD as Scatman described. However, I'm not sure if I'll get it done tonight so I'm uploading a copy of it now. Could someone take a look at it and see if you find any other problems?

Just tested some of it out with another player. I had the player go linkdead and the <Linkdead> tag displayed perfectly. He came back before the 30 second timer ran out and it made another instance of his character though. After the 30s timer expired, his linkdead character was removed from the world, but not from the group. I'm not sure if that was because he came back before the timer expired or though.

Not sure if you got to this yet but we were not awarded group experience when we killed a spawn together in a group. He didn't engage in the battle but the whole group should still be awarded group experience.

Yup I forgot to mention that. I also haven't done the loot rewards or group options yet.
