I can start on moving this over here, or getting them in my sql tables and uploading them, but also
http://maps.eq2interface.com/map.php
has most /loc's including zone lines..
Just a thought, not sure if its been thought of.
Also if we want to make a pretty close replica of a live server, they have mob locs etc and static objects.
One thing i did notice is links (item links from live eq2) dont work in an emulated server, or atleast not mine? is that because the emulator uses different code/db structure then soe's servers?

Also, just a thought, but wont the safe zone /loc spawn all players that enter that zone in the same spot, stacking on each other? if everyone in say a group zone in at the same time?
Would there be a way to make it zone people in at a random area within the safe zone /loc proximity? or does it already do this?

This is because item IDs are different in our database. Eventually we might use the same item IDs as live, but the current db does not.One thing i did notice is links (item links from live eq2) dont work in an emulated server, or atleast not mine? is that because the emulator uses different code/db structure then soe's servers?

That is a good idea that I hadn't thought about. I'll add it.intodesi wrote:Also, just a thought, but wont the safe zone /loc spawn all players that enter that zone in the same spot, stacking on each other? if everyone in say a group zone in at the same time?

Here are some zone locs for ya-
In addition to this there are several entries in the zone table that can be deleted including the entry for the City of Mist, the second Charasis:Vault of the Eternal (id number 266) as well as an entry labeled dir.txt (id 37). None of these are real zones or are copies of other zone entries.

Zexis, I do not seem to have any of those exp04* files. What expansion is that? Maybe I missed one, though I have the RoK box which I thought came with everything... and my Live client seems to not have them either.
Not sure I should add those until someone else confirms they work. Adding your locs updates though.

Ok, I seem to thrive on admitting publicly when I am STUPID.
Note to self: when you BUY the box set, maybe I should put in the activation key too, eh?
And what the hell is up with the station site, that can no longer tell you anywhere what expansions you DO have? Sigh...
Anyway, I checked the g/f's machine, cuz I know she was playing with Snarks. Sure enough, exp04 files all over the place. Cuz she was smart enough to activate. :/
Sorry for the confusion.
And double verifying Zcoretri - I see no "chardok_epic01_mines" either (now) heh.
