NPC Can't click to target

Post by Sylva1n » Thu Jul 02, 2009 9:08 am

I added my 2 first NPCs to test things,
I have set targetable to 1 and command_primary to 5 in the DB.
show_command_icon is also set to 1.

I can target the NPCs by using tab (target next NPC key), but I can't click on them to target, nor does the little chat bubble thing appear when I mouse over them.

I am using the compiled win32 world.exe and all the xml from the snv.

need help.

Did you add them through the database or via in-game commands?

Set "show_command_icon" to 1 as well and then its "command_primary" to hail which I think is ID 5.

Did you set up their other proper tables then? Try adding them via in game commands.

I think they are, it's been a while:
/spawn create and /spawn add new

I found that the entity_commands table on TessEQ2 is different from the entity_commands table that we get from auto-updating our database from the update server, wich means that 5 is not hail.

From update server, hail is 1.

Yes, no data from Tess has been applied to Login Updates except `zones`.

See this is why we need an editor, with tables all over the place for one NPC it drive me bloody nuts! >_<

I know your working on version 2.0 of the offical database editor, is it possible to package that for us to use on our own servers to test things?
