Project Status Module

On the Portal Menu, under Development, you should now see a link to the Project Status module. If you do not, or get an Access Denied, let me know here and I'll fix it.

This module is meant to replace the Project Status thread I had been manually maintaining in the Project Updates forum. What it shows is the current status on various components of the Server project and content in the Database project, with options to search via specific criteria.


The general layout of this module is the same as the Project Status thread, with:

Code: Select all

Category
    System
        Subsystem  -  Details
Status entries with no Start Date are not shown. Entries with Completed Date will be hidden unless you select the Stage: 5-Completed (nothing is finished now, so don't bother looking ;)).

Lastly, and more importantly, not every Status currently has the proper dates or completion percentages - they will be updated over time to be more accurate, but this gives you a general idea where we are.


Usage:
To find the current state of the Characters system, select System "Character" (1), press Search (2), and see results (3).

Btw, the reason I chose now to make this available is that Scatman and I talked at length about providing a status of current zone content. We hadn't detailed out Content Development yet, only Server Core stuff... but after talking, we thought this might be a good way to get that information to our testers.

Choose Category "Database", System "Zones" to see our content progress.

this is great, then it'll be easier to see what needs testing, and where bugs are to find :twisted:
