Tried creating some accounts on tessEQ2 and it never responded after "submitting name for approval". Just checking in, really excited about playing

When i get to "submitting kainteeka for server approval" it just hangs until i disconnect. Any idea?

To help you out we need to know the Client version your using, and any expansions or box sets you have installed. I had the same problem trying to connect with an unpatched base Eq2 and I believe it is your client version.

and its just the original release, have not downloaded the patches from direct to drive yet.

If it is just the original Eq2 with No Expansions then it is your client version.

This is how you check your client version

There are 3 things do from here;

1) Patch to live if they haven't added an update since July 2nd if they have

2) Patch to live and wait till we upgrade again. (This may take a long time though)

3) Buy The Shadow Odyssey or Runes of Kunark expansions, install them but do NOT patch them and just change your eq2_default.ini and you should be able to log in.

I'm installing the runes of kunark now to see if that fixes it.
