Yeah, you might as well stop using the term "Beta". When we start hearing from LE that we're nearing complete functionality, we will start talking about Beta. And that is so far out, I cannot even guess a date.
THERE ARE NO ETA'S
Not for Sytherian Legends, not for Tess, not for EQ2Emulator. It will be released when it is released. So asking repeatedly when it will be released will only become annoying, though your excitement is truly appreciated ;)


Get involved. Pick up some C++ code tasks. Help with Tess Content (because that is what drives added server functionality). Collect data for the core project. Otherwise, sit patiently and wait like everyone else - including us on the dev teams.

Haha okay, np.. sorry I just was confused as far as everything and where the emu is at in its completion stages.. I would LOVE to help working on this with the emu and take up some C++ tasks but I know nothing about it :oops: :oops:

If you want to see where any component is in it's development stage, check our Project Status module. We try to keep it up to date, but I admit it's a little behind. You'll get a good idea where we are though.

Btw, one of the biggest things any community member can do for the entire project is collect data from the Live game while they play. It's simple, safe, and unbelievably helpful. PM me if you are interested.

I am all thumbs when it comes to design. Got great ideas, just no concept of how to put it all together (as you can tell by my boring portal modules ;) )

Just an FYI guys... I have begun work on Scar Crescent, which is the starting zone for members of the Mind's Eye faction. Once the zone is complete with population and quests I will open up the server for a bit for people to play around in the zone. It will probably only go up to lvl 8 or so, but it will give you die hards an idea on what to expect quality-wise from the rest of the server. :P
