Custom Textures In Game

Post by Tiger » Sat Sep 05, 2009 8:48 am

As you may or may not know, Everquest 2 stores the textures used in game in DDS format. When they are loaded into memory, they stay roughly in the same format, so it is possible to use a memory hacking program, (cheatengine) to change the textures into what ever texture you want (but it would only be seen modified on the one computer you are using). I attached in Image of me doing this with the yellow leopard (via the /race command). Is it possible to build texture swamping capabilities directly into the emulator.
