Bugs: Queens Colony

Post by Donnarien » Wed Sep 09, 2009 7:46 am

My testing machine(Laptop):

OS Version: 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 VER_NT_WORKSTATION
CPU: 2 x86 GenuineIntel 4MHz RDTSC MSR CMPXCHG8 SSE SSE2
DirectX Version: 9.0c
Video Card/Driver: [ATI Mobility Radeon X1800 ] [ati2dvag.dll] 6.14.10.6618What

Ground installation pack - "TSO - All in one compilation pack - Limited Edition"

SoE-exe-version(trough Eq2Emupatcher): 5499L
(No other version works for me atm)

All testing done on "TessEQ2" server, map/zone "Queens Colony".
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Issue 1:
-----

NPC "Murrar Shar<Emissary Of Queen Antonia Bayle>": A "teeny, weeny" bit of text is missing
and a couple of soundsamples.

Issue 2:
-----

NPC "a Qeynos Guardsmen<Guard>": This one takes a "roundabout" when you "hail" him.

Issue 3:
-----

NPC "Sergant Haggus<Qeynos Guard>": The qust "Presence of Evil" includes
finding dead soldiers.
The problem here is that the "process" is to "sensitive".
You barely manage to get near the soldiers before you have found them.
Otherwise, the quest works. :)

Issue 4:
-----

NPC "Predator Sha'dur: The quest "Into the Tainted Forest", part two(collecting "sticks" for arrows).
You can't finalize this quest, you get NO "recorded gathering" when you "collect" the sticks.

Issue 5:
-----

I can't quest/play in the "map" Queens Colony(elsewhere works tho..) ... :?
Here, i always(more or less) lose "connection" to the server.
Until it works for me, i will leave this "report" unfinnished!

I found something thing with the Queen's Colony zone (fairly small, but slightly annoying), and another with the graphics with my characters.

1. In the Queen's Colony zone, when I attack a Sapwill Invader, it always kills me with its Assail ability, which abnormally hits me for 90-100 damage.
2. My wood elf is a tree (haha  ). When i scroll back and view my character, a moving tree is in the place of the character. But if i scroll back, slightly, but not fully out, i can see the wood elf inside the tree. This has been replicated with a couple other characters. This happens in (assumingly) all zones, as i went around qeynos and it's relative zones and the same thing happens. I'm going to get a screeny right now if it helps explain.

This problem should be fixed on the latest SVN, or coming tonight to Public SVN. TessEQ2 should have the fixes now, so let us know if it's still happening to you as of this afternoon.

Yeah I've been redesigning the "datacenter" (ooh rah!) this last week, but I think I'm finally done. Hope it works! ;)
