3 times while I am reading, posting or editing I got a Network Timeout on this site. It's not my connection because while I get the timeouts connected here, I can load any other page in my bookmarks.

Also yesterday (Friday the 25th), TessEQ2 lost connection to the LoginServer for hours, right after midnight AZ time and reconnected sometime after 2:30am.

Code: Select all

[20090925 00:29:06] LoginServer::Connect: 'TCPConnection::Connect(): connect() failed. Error: 10060'
[20090925 00:30:30] LoginServer::Connect: Resolving IP address: 'Unable to get the host name. Error: 11004'

I am fairly confident LE was not up fiddling around with LS at 2:30am MST :) so it could very well have been some outage at my end. It is a new service, so I am sure it'll be wrought with defects and issues. :/

However, right now and many times during this morning, I am losing LS connection from my server(s) as well. Not sure if it coincides with the forum timing out, just speculating.

Code: Select all

[20090926 11:21:33] LoginServer::Connect: 'TCPConnection::Connect(): connect() failed. Error: 10060'

Just a heads up in case something is wrong.

Further info... i just had my world disconnect, a player was zoning and got hung up, while my own client connection was so slow the client just closed (lol), and hitting this forum was in timeout for almost a minute.

I have a non-stop Ping going now to see if it's me. Probably is.

Edit: Just found out my EQEmu did the same thing at the same time ... so you can relax, enjoy the fact it was nothing wrong with eq2emulator.net ;)

Cox has some 'splaining to do.

Heh, well to go along with your problems the power supply in the computer that runs this website stopped working properly this morning. Luckily I had a spare and everything seems fine now.

Heh well actually I couldn't access the website to view this message :P

I was sitting at one computer and I heard the computer which runs the webserver turn off and restart. It never succesfully booted after that so I opened the case and noticed that the LED on the CPU fan was flickering so I replaced the power supply and all is right with the world again :P
