First, I am going to blame my MySQL server, and will look into that this week. But as of the Combat Revamp (which I don't feel should have effected anything related to items), anytime I run my world in Debug (from VS2005), I halt on Loading Items... for literally 5+ minutes. Scatman noticed a similar slowness during some in-game /reloads.
I also notice things like loading opcodes and structs taking wee bit longer than usual. Funny thing is, EQ2World is not using >any< CPU during these activities - and my MySQL process is also at 0.0%... and I can run it over and over, same result.
In release mode, Items still gets a big pause, but nothing like in Debug.
Again, this very well could be my network or my database, so unless something is glaringly obvious in the code LE, I would only note it for now.

Re: EQ2World vs Items loading (Debug)
Hmm, I ran a Repair on my TessEQ2 database (found nothing wrong), and restarted MySQL, and it seems to function normally now. I'll look into this during the week when I have more time.
