Preliminary Database Editor

Post by Scatman » Tue Nov 24, 2009 3:23 pm

I've been slowly working on an editor. It's based a lot of John's and just doing it as something on the side. It's no where near complete but if people want to use it I'll put more time into it.

scat i noticed 1 thing, you cant insert NPC skills with the editor. nothing happens when you click the button, and nothing happens in the database either.

Yep, didn't get that far. Haven't had a chance to work on this for quite a while.

I hate to revive old threads Scatman, but if you are listening....

What did you write this in ? Did you ever release the source ?

I was curious because of some issues I was having with speed, which is not effecting yours.

Honestly I'm not even sure if it's still around. I think I wrote it in C#. Speed with what?

During the initial connection, it is taking 3-4 seconds to just pull the names from the zones table. That is only about 500 rows, nothing extraordinary. I am using C# and the Mysql .Net connector.

What happens when you connect to the MySQL server using mysqlclient commad line and run the same queries, slow as well?
