Custom zone support [Resolved]

Post by bolly » Mon Nov 30, 2009 9:22 pm

Hey LE do I need to do anything other than update to 351 to get this custom zone name showing on login server? Great idea by the way, appreciate your thoughts for all us custom peeps!

Just update your server and it should detect any zone differences and send them to the login server. If for some reason it isn't working let me know and I'll take a look.

I was on 351 when i tested it, maybe my client 5771L? I did roll back to 350 to get around the not friendly target bug with spells/gathering but I will update today and give it a go

The client won't matter as the information is changed before the client sees it. Be sure to give your server time to upload the information though. I made it so that it only sends a few changes at a time to avoid bogging down both your server as well as the login server. It could take 15 minutes or so to send all the zones over initially.
