Multiple Game Servers, One Machine

Post by Arremis » Mon Dec 21, 2009 4:07 pm

Is it possible to run an EQ2 server and a Perfect World server at the same time on one machine? This is to be a lan-only server, because my wife wants to play Perfect World, and at the same time I'll want to be running EQ2 for testing. The server is an old XP box running the following specs:

Ubuntu for the OS
Celeron 1.7 GHz CPU
1 GB RAM
2 60GB IDE Hard Drives
GeForce 6600 256MB Video Card
10/100Mbps Onboard LAN

Any advice on this setup?

I don't see why not, as long as they are not configured to use the same ports.

Of course, you could not be a cheap-skate and build a EQ2 Testing Server, since our emulator deserves it's own hardware ;)
