New to the emulator and looking for help in geting started,i have no clue where to start.im not a stranger to the game,but havent played in years and like with alot of others wanting to play again without the you know..........lmao any help is thanked in advanced......Vahlmatyse

Welcome to the Community, Vahlmatyse. Whether you're wanting to run a server, or just play on the Emu, everything you need to get started is on the Portal page. The Portal Menu section has everything you need to know about EQ2Emu, and our current client compatibility can always be found here.

You'll need to buy the RoK or the TSO box set to play, and watch the forum daily for the client compatibility. If you patch beyond the date of the currently supported client version, chances are you won't be able to log into any servers on the Emu. Have a look around the forums and take in all you can (there's tons of info), and I hope you enjoy your stay here
