Hey guys, I'm new here so if this is a noobish problem don't blame me
Anyway my problem is I can't create a character, I get through all the creating part but when I choose a name and finalize it just stays on the part where it submits my name for approval, doesn't go past this part so I can't play.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

What I do is use a trial EQ2 account, create the character to my liking, and save the profile. Then I copy over the character profile to my Emu folder and then it's just a matter of launch the game, pick race an gender, load the profile, pick class and starting zone, and done in less than 60 seconds.
I am the UI Master...there is no charge for my awesomeness.

On what server are you trying this on?

I downloaded the trial and tried it that way, works fine now. Thanks for the replies
