Hey Bolly, i was lookin at your item editor again, great job btw. I had a suggestion and a couple questions (im tryin to learn C#)

I would recommend doing tier as a drop down box with the available selections being the different tiers and just having it right X number to the database that corresponds to the selected tier.

My question. How would I add addition items to your item stats drop down box (i know those are the only working ones atm, i would like to have more to choose from though)

Thanks

Check out the enum itemtypes in Editor.cs and just add the missing ones that you want to appear - they get loaded when the form pops up

You can find a list of the item types and the decimal values in the eq2emulator source in items.h

Cheers

Im hoping to learn a lot more of C# so i can help with your editor im doing some online tutorials and stuff. It is really like a cross between VB and a C scripting language.

hey bolly when you get a chance you wanna upload that other guys editor or can you help me make a few changes to yours?

I really wish i knew how to fix it so you didnt have to save after each edit. Same with reselecting an item after each save. Those 2 things really throw a monkey wrench in the works. If you have time and wanna fix em or give me a hand id appreciate it.

Hey all. I've been working on an item editor for a little while now. I gave a early version to bolly. Here is a link to the most uptodate one.

You will need to install MYSQL Connector/.Net 6.1.3

I am working on makeing it all inclusive of the database, with adding spawns, generating lua scripts and spells... etc

you will need to use the download.exe in the icons folder to view the item icon files just like bolly's.

Let me know what you think.. questions/comments PM me
