Server not currently letting me connect

I am trying to connect to Tess's server, but it keeps giving me an error. (Keep in mind I am not sure if this is because John has the server off, or if this is something i have done wrong)

Current Version:6118L

The following in my ini file reads:cl_ls_address eq2emulator.net

Errors:I get an error saying something is prohibiting me from playing

Connecting To:I am just trying to connect to TessEQ2 Server

I am using Everquest2.exe

I have restarted TessEQ2 to include the Gambler game.

You don't have to report it every time the server goes down. The server gets restarted a lot. The server crashes a lot. It could be up one minute and down the next. There have been times in which the server has been broken and down for days at a time. If you find that the server is down, instead of running to the forums to report it, wait a while and try again later.

I waited a day, guess that wasnt long enough though, so i'll just wait longer next time then :/

My server should never be down a full day. The portal has Server Stats that show what servers are online. If you see TessEQ2 listed and players online, and you cannot get online, it is not the server that is having problems.
