Can not get on!

I have tried to log into every server. When I log into Tess EQ2 my client crashes. All others wont even connect they just kicked me back to login. I did get into Pheonix Gaming ONCE! But there were NO items on it and nothing at all...So that was pointless >< ...Somebody plz help me! I am using the TSO Client, I JUST downloaded it.

Um... this emulator is in alpha mode with no public database available. Most servers will be 99.9% empty of content.

Several of the other servers (the yellow ones) are locked because development is going on. This will cause you to get kicked back to the char select screen.

Well I got on TessEQ2 and it had alot of items from what I can tell they didnt work properly, but the GM and Guide gear did. But it kept crashing my EQ2 client after 2-3 minutes.

This is where your problem lies. Your client is too new. The latest client version supported is 6196L (Feb 1, 2010). If you use the Search feature of the site, and do some research on the client versions, you'll understand how the EQ2Emulator process works, how to find what version your client is, and how to get compatible. If you can't be bothered to do that, then you'll just have to wait until the Server is updated to support your client version.

I looked at that comment and wondered if he meant, he just bought TSO and patched to live, or he just downloaded TSO.

Yea, I meant I just installed it. I have the Box Set from when TSO originally came out...my bad for wording. I am pretty sure mine is 5040 or something like that. I am not on that computer atm so I couldnt tell you exactly but it IS Supported.

And also does anybody know where I can get a tutorial or something from to learn how to work with this stuff? Like an Item Creator or something?? I looked around in Tutorials but it was mostly setting a server up.

If you could, tell us what item your class cannot equip due to invalid Skills. If your class truly should equip said item, we'll have to fix our starting_skills data (which someone is currently working on in our dev environment)

I was trying to equip both version of Sedition (Sk 80 Fabled/Myth Sword) and it said i didnt have required skills or something...then i tried some random lvl 1 One-handed Slashing weps...that didnt work either...I couldnt equip ANYTHING in any of meh weapon/shield slots...or bow slots..tried a lvl 80 mythic bow (forgot which one) but it didnt req class. I was on a Male Human SK in Outpost of the Overlord on TessEQ2 (if that makes any diff)...And can I like download the EQ2Emus DB or somebody elses DB alrdy put together??..cauz i just got meh own server working (RivEQ2) ....well sorta lol

[Edit] And why does it say "Error: Your status is insufficent for this command" when I try to do /guilds or lvl past 80...they r really only 2 commands I tried so far

Here are some other weapons I tried to equip:
Katana of Pain (Mythical)
The Serrator (Mythical)
Windrazor (Fabled)
Alcunis (Fabled)
Tsinisite Saber (Legendary)
Void-Tainted Shortsword of Culling (Legendary)
Ador's Axe (Treasured)
Blacksteel Sword (Common)

Armor does work tho..its just weps..and all of those are One-Hand/Main Hand Slashing..one of em was 2H Slashing..

Alright...sry if im bugging you all to death with theese questions...IDK if they are even in right place im just placing em where I was alrdy talking >< ....but How do I find an item appearence becauz my DB is completly empty for some reason and i cant find anything..and that link tells me how to do it if there is already stuff on there

Certain commands you have to be a GM to use. on Tess the server max level is 80 (the TSO max level) so in order to go higher you must be a GM.

Alright now I am just having problems after problem...haha...I used the /guilds create command but it crashed my client...so i restarted EQ2 and it took me three times for the login to do anything...kept kicking meh back to login screen...but then after i got it to say logging in, loading entities and everything my client crashed before gettin on >< ...should I just delete the guild and everything from DB w/ Navicat?...But I still have the Q on how to make items since i have nothing in item_appearence Table i dont know what appearences to use since that link u gave me told me to us item appearence from stuff alrdy in there

Alright all theese crashes suck...haha...has this been an issue that was fixed alrdy or what??..i seen on one page if correct the guild recruit guy doesnt work or something so use that command...but it crashes meh server...i swear this game is out to get meh!...lol
