Server Question

Ok I have read the forum and I know I am going to wait till you update, but, I was wanting to know, is there a way I can have a private server? I like to make game movies but SOE Live is always so full it makes for bad filming. *shrus* So that pertty much it. I already have MYSQL install for my own eb server that I have so I am just needing to know it I can have a private server that just runs on the localhost?.

Looks Good guys.

Right at the moment your database runs through localhost and the sever runs on your computer, but I believe it still has to connect through eq2emulator.net in order for it to work correctly.

Hmm. Ok.
Well is there a way that only I can logon to my server? I would love to finaly be able to play at my house (no internet) and not clutter up my familys house. But.. they don't care

So that is the only other question I have.
I have been able to actually see my server in the list of servers, But it goes back to the login screen after a bit cause it gets locked up or something, I am sue it is due to the fact I am running build 4523L (Just updated today Sunday Nov. 18, to make sure I have the last update before LE stops the update per his instructions on the front page)
So, in Review The only thing I would like to know is if I can have a solo server. I know there has to be someway,cause in the test eq2 they can log you off, but the server is still up.. dunno though.

Yes that is what your server should display. If you are asking how to only allow yourself to login to your server, replace your external IP address with 127.0.0.1 as long as you are running the server on the same computer as your client; otherwise use your internal IP address.
