Re: BugID: 445 (Scatman) monk epic restored hand of serenity
Setting this one as a critical bug, because we're expecting players to be testing our 112k items, and from the bug reports pouring in, lots of failures to equip. This specific case is valid, verified by me in game.
But worse than this, I do a search for items for ASSASSIN class, and I get results for All Priests, and Wizard. There's something definitely wrong with our bits
However in the DB Editor, the proper class is checked (Monk) for the Restored Hand of Serenity. So I am pretty sure it's a server code bug, not data.

Opcodes are totally fuxXoRed in our initial testing of the Sentinel's Fate client, so it'll be a while before this is made compatible.
Zcoretri, here's those items examples - and there's about a dozen more things that simply don't work thanks to a massive opcode shift (possible +2 across the board)

I think you mean structs are totally fuxXoRed...if it was opcodes you wouldn't even get the examine window

Re: BugID: 445 (Scatman) monk epic restored hand of serenity
I meant whatever sense you make out of my lack of complete understanding of this
I said Opcodes because Scatman and I are finding literally dozens of opcodes that are wrong. Glad you're back, now we can beat on you about structs and opcodes
LE was kind enough to get the client at least able to log in for us, but the rest is absolutely broken
btw, we (sorta) fixed the login crash due to being in a guild, by +2'ing all opcodes between 115 and 139. Please let me know if that was incorrect.

Not back just yet, I'm still in Seattle. I will be back to San Diego on Tuesday.
Interesting, I will have to look into that +2 for opcodes between 115 and 139. By the way, what data version are we talking about here?

You got rid of the 1027 version of opcodes?
And is the 1028 version of opcodes from LE?

I got rid of 1027 long time ago, after we realized partial support for that version wasn't going to cut it. LE made 1028, but only the connect-to-LS parts. And as of this week, SOE is on to 1029 and more stuff has stopped working. They are apparently tweaking, and I blame PVPers (battlegrounds!)

Actually most of the new tweaks are because of raiders

And what sucks now is there is 3 versions to a epic now. Fable, Mythical and Enervated. Do any of the Enervated ones list up?

Someone at SOE must sit and go through the dictionary to come up with these words.
Seriously? I want to work on an Epic that debilitates me?
Code: Select all
en·er·vate
–verb (used with object)
1.
to deprive of force or strength; destroy the vigor of; weaken.
—Synonyms
1. enfeeble, debilitate, sap, exhaust.- ZexisStryfe

Actually the weapon itself has been enervated. It is the epic weapon with the "blue stats" taken off it. Once you complete the Epic Reprocussions quest they are stripped from your epic and you get a buff with them instead.

Actually, do you realize everytime I post, you actually post right behind me to actually correct me? Actually... it's actually, amusing.
But thank god you actually know what you're talking about, cuz I sure as hell don't. Actually.

Opcodes have not changed in 1029, but I bet structs have.John Adams wrote:I got rid of 1027 long time ago, after we realized partial support for that version wasn't going to cut it. By the way, we have 2 opcodes at 141, OP_PayHouseUpkeepMsg and OP_MoveableObjectPlacementCriteri
