I know, but he asked for known issues and I was talking about the one I knew about. My post had nothing to do with your LoginServer comment.Sylva1n wrote: ilythor wrote:I have noticed over the past few days that it takes a few retries for Mozilla to connect to Eq2. Never works first time, usually works second time. I figured it might have been something to do with this, I'll let you know if the problem persists.
I was talking about my EQ2 client trying to connect to the login server

I'm actually kinda hoping the Web Site response times will be faster. Pretty sure my hardware kicks ass over LE's ~grin~

Hahahahaha, I don't think it's a timeout, Mozilla gives me the "server is unavailable please try again later" type message, yet as we speak. It seems to have stopped.

Oh, yeah... until Rogean wakes up from his year-long nap and gives me control of EQ2Emulator.net
there are going to be persistent DNS issues. The nameserver records are fuxXorEd, and I have no control to fix them (yet).
Always use www.eq2emulator.net, here and in the eq2_default.ini file, at least for now. Otherwise, expect spotty availability. It'll be fixed, eventually.
