Question About Complete Collection
I have a question. Dose The Complete Collection Work now? I see 1 month ago It was not working. So I was just wondering if it dose work now.

We have lost our main C++ coder, he was the only one that could really make new clients compatible quickly, and surely. If it didn't work a month ago, it probably won't work now. Your best bet is to try it, but it probably won't work.

Ok I Well give it a try. I will let you know if it works or not.
Edit. I get to a Servers Are bizy try again later. Is that normal If the Verson of the game wont play.
Edit 2. I'm now testing some things to see if i can get to the server list. When Patch to 5709L It will crash for no resin.
Edit 3. When patch up to 5771L I can get as fare as Loading Entities than is crashes.
Edit 4. When Patched to 5916L I will get as fare as caching appearances.
Edit 5. When patched to 6079L. Same as above.
Edit 6. When patched to 6118L I get a error saying that assetdb.dll failed to load. How do i fix this?

You can fix all the problems by installing a game client that works, which would be "The Shadow Odyssey" box set.

idk, i just took my patched game and unpatched it to 6118L and had no problems.
there's problems with the streaming client and i've read it's associated with assetdb.dll

Ok I guess I will stay tuned and wait for the Complete Collection To be compatible.(And my Complete Collection Is from the CD's not streaming) Seeing how EQ2Emu is still in baby stages, It may be a long, long wait.

I wouldn't count on The Complete Collection being compatible anytime soon. We're still struggling with getting Sentinel's Fate compatible, and with SOE crapping out a new box set faster than a baby on a prune diet, we simply cannot afford to keep purchasing box sets every few mos for this project.
Our first goal is SF, since that's where a majority of changes occurred. With F2P allowing us to patch at-will, we can hopefully keep EQ2 Clients compatible with no cost to us moving forward, but it's getting over the SF hump that's going to kill us.

Is there a major reason we need SF support?
The EQ 1 emulator is based entirely around one specific box set, and since they're not spending so much time chasing a moving target (ie, client updates), they've been able to focus on getting just that version working.
I'm personally more of a fan of TSO than SF, and wouldn't mind at all if development work was spent just getting that version working nicely.

The problem is we don't have the data, we don't have the content, we don't have the stats.
if we had a be all, end all, of all information of TSO, we'd make that compatible and leave it there, but since we don't have every single spawn location, every loot table, etc it's nigh impossible to just stop and stick with one client version.
