Hi people.

Hi folks. Looking forward to playing EQ2 again.

I've played so many MMORPGs that it would be silly to list them all here. I played EQ since Kurnark came out then went to EQ2 when that came out. I only played for a year before we (our guild) pretty much covered all the content at that time. I then discovered the wonderfull world of server emulation and never played a retail game since.

I played a real gem of a game called SoD. Bassed on the EQ1 engine it was incredibly well developed and brought back the original feeling that was long since lost from playing EQ Kurnark back in the day. Again I maxed out there in about 2 years time and stopped.

I've hosted my own WoW server since and GMed several others. As it sits now I am pretty much WoW'd out. I am very glad to find this open Alpha project for EQ2 and would like to contribute any way I can, even if it's simply playing.

My wife and I wil both be registered here and will try to connect soon as I can figure it out.

Thanks again!

Zibignu.

Welcome to the community, development hit a bit of a hiatus right now: But I'm the guy in charge of the forums around here, and it's my pleasure to welcome you.

Have a look around the forums on how to get connected, and even host your own server. I can help you out with some basic stuff, but don't get all developer on me otherwise I might just have to stare at you blankly.

Its always nice to see some new faces around here!
Enjoy your stay and do not hesitate to ask around if you have troubles connecting to the servers.
