Extended Outage Notification (Mar 4-6 2011)

This is a heads up that I will be installing new hardware on my servers at home, and all services (Web, Games, Login, SVN, FTP) will be offline for an extended period of time... hopefully things will go smoothly, and I will only need a few hours, but I am blocking out this entire time - just in case

Outage Starts:
[list]Fri Mar 4, 2011 around 5pm PST[/list]
Outage Ends:
[list]Sun Mar 6, 2011 no later than 5pm PST[/list]

During this time you will get Page Not Found errors visiting this site (because it's down), and any of my game servers you play on will not be available.

Please make note of this very important outage notice. Sorry any inconvenience.

Just a reminder that all services will be coming offline in approximately 4 hours (5pm PST).

Since the game servers are relatively idle, I am getting a jump on the maintenance by taking those offline ahead of schedule.

All Game Servers I host will return when the maintenance period is over.


For EQ2Emulator.net, this includes LoginServer and PatchServer outages starting soon. The web services (web and irc) will be the last thing I take down and I'll wait til 5pm PST to do so.

Much to my amazement, the hardware upgrades only took 2 hours!

The rest of the time tonight was sat waiting for my internet provider to clear my MAC address that changed
