Just got the server loaded up and is patching now on Fedora 14 x86_64.

There were a few things I had to do differently that the wiki guide didn't have in there, most notably editing the makefile and changing the path for mysql from /usr/lib/mysql to /usr/lib64/mysql. I tried to log into the wiki but it wouldn't take my name / password and when I tried to create a new account there it just kept dumping me back here.

I also had to google around for the mysql commands to create a new table and how get the login stuff working but it looks good!

Thanks again, hopefully I'll be able to get a working client tonight so I can play around...

Welcome to the project! Glad to hear you got things started. If you wish, you can add a KnowledgeBase Article to the system.

We've had nothing but trouble with spammers on MediaWiki, so I have opted to lock it down, and we're testing this new KB Article system as an alternative. Let me know what you think.

Again, welcome.

Sure, I think I can do that, maybe tomorrow.

If your not feeling up to the task, just PM me what you did, what needs to be changed, and what commands you needed in what order! I'll write it up for you when I get a chance?
