Server Rejecting Client Login

Post by TILT » Tue Nov 08, 2011 12:20 pm

I'm getting this error when attempting to login to the server. This happens when the world starts to load and then the server shuts down.

D Opcode: Opcode 0000 (0): Unknown in ..\..\source\WorldServer\client.cpp
D Opcode: OP_Unknown Received 0026 (38)

The opcodes table was auto updated to 70040 and the client being used is 6118L. If there is additional info needed that I may have left out let me know and I'll follow up with another post. I haven't had a lot of time yet to look into this but I wanted to start a new thread to see if anyone else was getting this.

Unknown opcodes will not cause you to fail login. It's something else. Turn on some DEBUG (except Database!) and see if you can identify where it stops trying to load the player.

Thanks for the reply John! I will do as you suggested and follow up here with another post. Also thanks for pointing out that an unknown opcode has nothing to do with this problem.

I had previously modified router settings and forgot to open ports.
