EQ2Emu Packet Tool bug

Post by John Adams » Sat Dec 10, 2011 10:33 am

Scat (and a warning to those using this tool),

Not sure why yet, but there is a random hex value getting inserted into larger packets when using your tool.

(I just wanted an excuse to say "using your tool" so I could giggle like a schoolboy)

See the random 0xfB? (lower-case f, upper-case B) That isn't in the original packet (at least not in Hex)

I just wanted to let those who use this tool know to check the packet after pasting into the code, for this obvious dangling value and remove it otherwise it might corrupt your data.

Should be fixed now. I also added a button to copy the hex to the windows clipboard.
