Content Tasks / Redo's
Referring to Sylvain's recommendations for what we should do first/next:
Content has it's own time table separate from Server Core 0.7.1, known as the DB Milestones.
Milestone 1 was our first-effort-ever, mostly ironing out server functionality for content.
Milestone 2 is supposed to be a revamp of every object in Milestone 1, and take the content to Level 20 (up to the gates of Thundering Steppes/Nektulos). Milestone 3, hopefully then, would bring us to the conclusion of the Shattered Lands - level 1 - 50 + raiding, and coincide with the release of Emu 0.8.0, or Beta.
So for Content Team, right now, *anything* can be done and you're making progress. I do agree we will nuke all spells and items and use the data found on data.soe.com, coupled with the data we get from Packet Logs - because the SOE data lacks much of the details we need to make these things work. BUT, the SOE data will give us a full list of item/spell "names" to play with, anyway. Good start.
This forum has over 1/2 a dozen stickies labeled as "Task"s, and not one of them is completed yet. There is plenty to be done to core data before I even pop a single zone, so if someone wants to get started, review those stickies and talk to me about what you want to complete.

Re: Content Tasks / Redo's
I will say again, any Content Design people waiting around for me to pop zones, there is a list of "Tasks" in the Content Development forum that need to be addressed.
Do not wait for me, or get bored and wander off because there's "nothing to do". There is plenty, and once I get time to pop the starter zones, we'll hop on Dev together and go through some processes. I don't want anyone just jumping in and hacking away at data unless they know how we want it done.
The "Tasks" are there in the mean time.

I'll take a look at these and see what I can do.

I suddenly have a headache after looking over some of those.

Some jobs are not "fun", but necessary. I am hoping the team can still pull together to do things they may not find thrilling

Re: Content Tasks / Redo's
Anyone besides TILT finding anything they are interested in helping with? TILT is doing a great job of tackling one of the more difficult tasks on the list of TODOs... and there are plenty of other things (data entry-wise) that need to be done.
Any takers?

Re: Content Tasks / Redo's
If you want to close the /ignore task from testing to completed you can since i tested it using say, ooc, guild, shout, emotes, group and whisper. I was going to but i wasn't sure if you wanted to leave it in testing for some reason.

Nah, good deal. Let's close it. When we add additional chat channel options, we'll test those specifically.
