while this is the smart thing to do openly telling people "look we dont care were just trying to save our arses here" is like asking sony to get a warrent to pull your forums into tiny little bits and examine them all one by one.
I'm not trying to be a pain but you shouldn't go around posting stuff like that so its publically viewable cause i can guarantee you sony is watching this project.
either that or they have abanndoned Eq 2 as its player base is slowly disintergrating and is no longer being profitable or they just want all there hard work to go to atlest some use.

Ok, plain and simple. We can not DISCUSS file shareing period. This means asking how you do it, why you do it, where can you do it, ect.
Link is right on the money, so to say. We shouldnt tell you go and do it this way so its to not get caught, but thats the way it should be done. Private Messages and Email are not public areas, hence are hidden from prying eyes and bots.
From now on, lets exercise are knowledge of reading site rules and prohibit coversations from taking paths like this.

This is the last time I am going to say this. The official AND unofficial stance of the project is that we do NOT support warez. I'm not your parent. I don't care where you get it as long as you don't post warez or links to it on the forums. Do not use the private areas of the server to post links to this either. I am not going to censor anyone's private messages but I will not condone any behavior that I believe would cause harm to the project. I will respect your privacy and your private messages will remain private, but the project will not officially or unofficially endorse any method for obtaining the client illegally.

You can't use that build to play with the Emulator. the only functioning builds are 4412 (the RoK) box client) and 4523. You need to go buy the Kunark box and install that. Then you cannot patch the client, or else it won't work.
