Can't launch the client...

Hello. I installed SF off of the disc's. I then used the EQ2EMuPatcher. I showed the patcher where the game is installed, selected version 6118L, and the patcher updated and it appeared to patch successfully. (matched the image in wiki). I tried to launch the game via the patcher and a eq2 update window popped up and then nothing happened. I got on to the forums here and seen that I needed to run Everquest2.exe directly and not from the patcher. So I reran the patcher to make sure its patched. Ran Everquest2.exe and nothing happens. I tried running it as administrator and same problem. I doubled and tripled check to make sure that the eq_default.cfg was said cl_ls_address eq2emulator.net which it does. Not sure what else to do.

nm, I deleted the bottom portion that refers to resource in the eq2_default file and it launched
