Client to old?

Post by Maciz » Sun Aug 12, 2012 8:46 am

Hi,

I've just downloaded and set up the 1.3 serverpack. But I'm running into a problem when logging in. When I start up EverQuest2.exe and enter admin/admin, it starts to load up the zone etc. But as soon as it start to load entities, it crashes.

The only thing I can think of, is that my client is to old. I'm using an install from scratch, using the basis (the original EQ2 dvd's). Could this be the problem? Is there a minimum for the client?

Greets,
Mac

Since this is one of the more common questions (when Search fails), I added a link to the above mentioned post on the Welcome page. Also updated the post to be more current, as it too was a little out of date (DoV is now our supported base client).
