Bit of a delay in ordering the game,

but I just now ordered DoV and hope to be playing sometime in the next couple weeks ^^

I never made it past the original version of EQ2 lol, so I guess I got 6 expansions to catch up on o_O

Any suggestions on a server to start out on?

EQ2 Test center is the official server supported by this project, it is where you will see all the latest server work. Content wise I believe it only goes up to level 10 currently (some one who knows the server better will have to confirm). I believe there are plans to work on getting more content out but CoE beta has probably put a stall on that as we are busy trying to collect as much data as we can from that beta.

Again some one who knows the server better should probably comment on what EQ2TC has, I never really played on it.

You are correct Jab, it has levels 1-10 mostly complete, as DB Milestone 1 was nothing more than core server development necessities. Our next DB round will be more thorough and hopefully less server coding required to complete content.

But, you can play. And before you ask, there is ZERO population so you'll have the server all to yourself :)

I don't mind a no population server lol

I always considered EQ2 a "solo" game when I was playing it on retail xD

I'll poke around and find what bugs and stuff I can.

Are characters limited to level 10 right now, or is it just that there is no content scripted past level 10?

I don't want to zone somewhere and end up stuck because a zone hasn't been added yet xD
