Recent Down-time

Post by John Adams » Wed Apr 04, 2012 7:43 pm

Hello Community!

I want to apologize for the recent "quietness" the last few weeks. I have been slammed at work getting some projects completed for Q1, and by the looks of it if I am not here posting, then there are no posts. That sarcasm aside, I assure you that efforts are being made behind the scenes, though at a trickle right now as we position ourselves for the big push to 0.7.1 release, DoV client compatibility (already in test) and beginning DB Milestone 2.

Hopefully in the weeks to come, you will start seeing more activity again on these forums keeping you up to date on our progress.

That's actually perfect. We love crashes. Makes a stronger product. Thanks for letting me know :)

jado, try logging your client in again if you will. I've added what might be a fix.

Late reply, yah the server has been working the past week or so.

I log in kill 20 or 30 monsters and log off. Not trying to race through all the content because, well , it's not all there yet ;p

I was playing around today killing the undead pirates in Queen's Colony when I lost connectivity I think. Either way I picked the option to close game without camping, I probably should have just clicked the X button on the upper right of the window.

Now my character is still logged in and I can't get back in. Been about 15 min's or so, I'll try again in an hour and see if it's still stuck.

I might have died because of the undead attacking me and maybe my character is stuck at the rez screen?

Another thing I noticed when I was trying to get in I saw an option for alternate appearance in the character select screen. I clicked on it and then hit cancel and it changed the way my character looked. I'll poke around with that some more once my character is available again. It seems I can't save any new changes to the character atm, although hitting cancel changed it to a default setting I'm assuming.

Thanks for the hard work and I know a few people who just got a copy of the DoV client so maybe there will be a few more players poking around soon.

Try now, I have no clue what happened to keep you logged in though.
