After accepting the third quest in the line, "Into the Tainted Forest" - the one that rewards you with a helm, He for some reason turned into a box. I'll pretend its a litter box. I'm not sure if its a bug on my end, but I thought it was.... odd....

I've had him change into a sloth looking creature once. I wasn't sure how to replicate the bug so I never posted an official bug report. I'll have to run that quest again and see what happens.

It kicked me from the server for a bit, but it seems it did not crash it. It says an error is prohibiting me from letting me play and that I should try again in a few minutes.

Yup, once again the infamous crash that doesn't crash anything. Sigh. Why can't this happen when the dev team is camped out on the server?

Recompiling and turning off Hate. See if it crashes on you again.

Old thread, but similar has been happening to me with the latest server release and my private server. He first turned into a giant tree stump, and now he just turned into a fish. I noticed it happened after completing a quest when the reward pops up.

The only thing that showed up in the server cmd is:
"10:15:12 E Command: Error in COMMAND_ACCEPT_REWARD. No pending quest or collection reward was found (unknown=0)"

I believe the log is just a bad log that will pop up every time a quest is turned in. As for your actual issue, I have only seen it once and never been able to reproduce it if you have any more info that would be helpful to tracking this rare bug down, if not don't worry about it, has evaded me for a long time now.

The only times I have been able to produce this bug is on the final quest turn in stages. It could be any of the quests, but just when you turn in for the reward. I will keep playing around with it and see if I can find anything else.

Thanks for testing it, any extra info could help tracking this down.

That said don't worry about it to much as this is one of the tricky bugs that doesn't happen all the time and seems to be mostly random and rare, for me at least.

Also what client are you using? I have seen the problem with the SF client, don't think I have ever seen it with the DoV client.

Actually I am using the DoV box set patched to 7628 with the emupatcher.
