Current Client to Use

Post by Gilraak » Tue Dec 25, 2012 5:37 am

What is the most current stable client and method to obtain,

I own SF Retail, and have the Steam F2P downloading.

Oh, and I apparently did own EQ2 on Steam as well before the F2P was posted.

We are still focusing on DoV box set, the older SF client should still work though.

We are also working on support for CoE clients though there is still some work to do on them. The latest steam dl should be able to connect I believe but some one else will have to verify the version and date.

I am not clear on what the plans are going forward, there was some talk about keeping up with live now that most of the dev team understands the process on how to update the structs and xinux's amazing work with opcodes but I don't think anything has been decided yet.

I haven't checked what version is currently on steam but the current live client should connect.
