Chains of Eternity Clients on EQ2TC!

Post by John Adams » Mon Dec 17, 2012 9:20 am

All,

Our devs have been busting their butts to get a compatible "Live" client working, and after many days of work they have it mostly compatible - at least enough to log in and try a few things. I have updated our LoginServer and EQ2TC to allow these client versions to connect, so give it a try if you like using the latest EQ2 Live Client (12/12/2012).

Note: All bugs reported using CoE clients will be ignored, because we're not ready for CoE testing just yet. Keep this in mind when trying out the CoE client, as we already know they are not working perfectly :)

Here's a little update. After spending the last week pounding out structs and code changes in our parser, and with a ton of help from the guys on the team, I have managed to get our new item list populated on my test server and tossed on a set of armor to see how it looks.

I guess I could have picked a better suit :) But I was pretty excited to see everything work almost perfectly right away. Great job to everyone for keeping our server moving forward!

Nice work as usual John ;)
