Partially fixed this so if both chars are in the same zone it should update the status instantly without requiring a zone or re-log to take effect. If the chars are in different zone then a re-log or zone is still required, will try to get that fixed as well soon though

Found a nifty function in the ZoneList class "GetClientByCharName". Should get any connected client in any zone by name, /flag should now instantly update the client even if they are not in the same zone.
