Assuming password field is hashed as it is in EQEmu you can't just plug in a password like in my EQEmu to make a new accout I have to insert into the account table a row with the "sha(Password)"

I tried to put in the field manualy and I get password rejected message

Well one hurdle at a time I think I am done for the day. TY all for your help
I was able to login to my server build created a character.
When I zoned into the game I had no character model like I was invisable.
Then I got what seams to be auto camped back to character select.
@ character select my model I picked changed to a bald female
I logged back in and still no model chat box said I was camping and I could not move.
back to character select again
then the World server crashed with a shit ton of op code errors

I assume its because I am useing the live client I will try again when I get my DoV box that cost me $30 for a game that is now free :-(

Code: Select all

20:12:33 I Zone: Loading new Zone 'FrostfangSea'
20:12:33 I Spawn: Loaded for zone 'FrostfangSea' (470):
	1800 NPC(s), 1238 Object(s), 59 Widget(s)
	81 Sign(s), 1920 Ground Spawn(s), 1828 Spawn Group(s)
	1164 Spawn Group Association(s), 0 Spawn Group Chance(s)
20:12:34 W Client: No character skills found!
20:12:34 E DBCore: #1452: Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (`eq2local`.`character_skills`, CONSTRAINT `FK_skills_character` FOREIGN KEY (`skill_id`) REFERENCES `skills` (`id`) ON DELETE CASCADE ON UPDATE CASCADE)
Query:
INSERT IGNORE INTO character_skills (char_id, skill_id, current_val, max_val) SELECT 1, skill_id, current_val, max_val FROM starting_skills WHERE class_id IN (21, 28, 29, 255) AND race_id IN (8, 255)
20:12:34 W World: No MOTD set. Sending generic message...
20:13:54 I Zone: Scheduling client 'Lighted' for removal.

I'll post a full world DB sometime tonight for you so that should get you running tomorrow, on the character create issue we literally fixed that yesterday. The structs I packaged with the exe I sent you should have fixed that issue as well if you're using them.

WEll it all started when I couldn't source in the eq2 database because it kept erroring out and not creating all the tables. I used the SVN dump and literally sourced in every table 1 by 1. I may have goofed something up. I can source a file but when it gives me 40 errors and stops 1/2 way thru I don't know howto fix that.

as far as file I will double check and make sure I used those

Keep in mind I am attempting to use a live client downloaded last night. DoV will be here some time this week had to get it off Amazon because no local stores still have box sets for a free game that has a streaming client lol

Source this into an empty DB. It's the current spawns on DB Project with our old Milestone 1 spells.

Let us know if you have more problems, but that should source in error free.
