Hey John,
Since 11042L is no longer the live client can you please have the EQ2EMUPatcher application updated to provide that version?
Also I noticed that the ServerPack seems to have the D: drive hardcoded is some spots for the Apache client... had to change lots of configs to fix it.
Thanks!

I just updated opcodes on the DB patcher, if your server connects to it you will get the opcodes to make the current live client, as of 8/21/2014, to work.

Hey Jab,
I tried connecting to both the MiniLogin and the public login servers after my db update, but both still gave me the "invalid client" error message. the current client (or the one I just patched to at least) is 11259L.

If your mini login server uses a different DB then the world then you will need to manually move the opcode table from the world server database to the mini login server database. As for our login server I don't have access to that DB as far as I know so we will have to wait for john to update it.
EDIT: 11259L is the client I just tested with and after moving the opcodes from the world server database to the mini login server database I was able to log into my world locally. I also tried restarting the eq2emulator world and login hoping it used the same database but it doesn't, so we will have to wait for john on that.
EDIT2: And I never fully made it into my world, looks like some structs changed, possibly spawn structs, this will take me a little to track down exactly what changed.

Well then, that explains it! I was able to get to the character screen but not able to zone in (kept getting bumped to the char screen) I assume this is the same issue you had, Jab...

Yea, I start to load in but usually get stuck around "Adding character to zone..." this leads me to believe spawn structs have changed but I am not seeing the issue yet, not even sure why our packet analyzer won't load the packet as breaking it down manually it seems to line up. I was hoping to at least get the client into the world tonight but this might take longer then I originally hoped.

That is exactly where it tanks for me as well. Thanks for the help, Jab!

Split the topic to keep the server pack topic clean.
Turns out it is not the spawn structs, they all seem to line up, just issue with analyzer that was throwing me off. I commented out the character sheet and it lets me past adding character to world, hangs at loading ui though.
Not sure what is wrong in the character sheet, added extra elements to make the size match, top half seems to match perfectly but if it is sent the client hangs at "adding character to world". I am still looking into it though.

Just an update, I have confirmed 100% that it is the character sheet that is the issue, I have never seen a situation where a bad value would stop the client from loading though. I always confirmed elements in game so having to do it while not in the game is taking a long ass time even with analyzer.
To confirm I hardcoded the packet with what I got from a log on live and I loaded in right away.

And of course after my last post I had an idea and it seems to have worked, it seems that if the flags value is off it will prevent the client from loading all the way in, I committed my new struct to Dev SVN but also attached it here so you don't have to wait for it to make it to public. Let me know if this allows you to get in (there will be some issues with the character, mainly xp disabled it looks like).

Jab,
I still could not zone into the game, even using the new worldstructs file.

Still the same client or was there an update yesterday? Also any errors? Will go over it again see if I left something out. Also what zone are you logging into and does it have content?

Same client- 11249L. No errors that I can see in any logs. I am trying to zone into Frostfang Sea using the default database. I have set that zone to start automatically though.
