Crashing the server
So I ran into this issue last night and I'm not certain if there's a work around. Jabantiz was doing some content so he was around while this was happening. It seems that every time that I would level up the server would crash. He could level himself but If i attempted to do so it would end up in a crash... Anyone know how this is happening or if I'm just a fluke?

I still have no clue what was happening and have not been able to reproduce it. I think you said you were using DoV client, was it a box set patched with out utility or something else?
Also what race/class were you and what quest and step were you on if you remember? Trying to narrow down the cause to hopefully reproduce it on my end.

Re: Crashing the server
Lets see, im using a DoV boxed 2 disc set w/ the UI fix. I created a second character to test this and it's still crashing the server on level up.. a halfelf berserker and a rat assassin.. same effects upon level up. I will try removing and reinstalling to see if that'll fix the issue.

Is the version in the title bar 7628L? Did you use this tool after installing from the disks? The DoV version we support is slightly after release of that expansion.

Re: Crashing the server
Yes, Its showing Build 7628 after the patch emupatcher. Im not certain if this will help support this issue, I crashed zoning into freeport earlier. I dont believe this crashed the server though. Ill just stick to one bug at a time..

Made a new character on the emu with DoV client and did /level 2 right away and it crashed, was able to reproduce it while in debug and looks like something to do with guilds, even though this new char is not in a guild, looking into it now.

Re: Crashing the server
Ok it was a server issue, mainly data, and not a client issue.
Basically what happened was the default guild did not have event filters, and it would only load the default filters when it was originally created, so when you leveled it tried to send an event but didn't know what to do with it as there were no filters. I made a change so at startup if a guild does not load any event filters it will load the default filters and that should prevent the crash.
I did a quick test and every thing seems to be good, let me know if it continues to happen.
Thanks for crashing it multiple times and the info, helped me track it down.
