i did tihs myself view years ago, see in tools section a bit of my work.
also you don´t have to figure out the format by yourself. in the sourcecode from blaz tool´s there is a parser for many of the eq2 files.

Re: EQ2 Models (.draw)
My last attempt was in c# using blaz tools, however still a lot to do and as it is a side project it is slow going. I need to figure out the shaders eq2 uses as almost everything in the game uses a shader to render properly and blaz tools need to be updated to work with current clients, works great on the original box set which is what I am using for the pics I have provided.delium wrote:i did tihs myself view years ago, see in tools section a bit of my work.

This is also my first real attempt to code with direct x so I still have a lot to learn on the subject.

Awesome work, so there is a model viewer that comes with the project?

Re: EQ2 Models (.draw)
Nah, I never released this, was mostly an attempt to see if I could manage to do this. The main obstacle I ran into last time I worked on this was updating blaz tools to handle the newer file types, was some major changes that I couldn't figure it out 100%. Not to mention it looks like crap cause I can't figure out eq2 shader code.milotoadfoot wrote:Awesome work, so there is a model viewer that comes with the project?
