Still greyed out. It's possible I did something wrong updating the codes. I had to edit the 1 and 2 columns. I only changed values that were 60160 though. I'm going to get some sleep. I'll check back tomorrow. Thanks for your time Cynnar.Cynnar wrote: They are not suppose to be greyed out. Try restarting both minilogin and world. Re: EQ2Emulator ServerPack
Races/Classes being greyed out is a result of a bad struct at login and will need some investigation to get it working properly.
EDIT: I just put the opcodes up on the db patcher, will look into the structs next, live client (just patched 5 mins ago) locally and I have no issue creating a character, while it won't effect race/class make sure to select standard server when creating a char. I assume you tried to connect to a minilogin? If so try connecting to the emu servers and let me know if you still have the greyed out races/classes.

I started with a fresh serverpack setup. I believe I updated the opcodes correctly. Cynnar also provided me some new structs files. I was able to login to my own server with minilogin, but all character races are greyed out. I cannot accept the second quest in the starter zone. I also do not have the alignment to rent the starter appartment, if that even works yet.
I logged into the emu's server. I was able to create a character. Unfortunately once I logged into the zone, EQ2 would crash a few seconds later. This is the error.

Re: EQ2Emulator ServerPack
As you were able to create a character on the emu server that narrows the problem down to minilogin being out of date, will look into that.
After that crash did you try to log in again after a few mins (10 maybe) or does it crash like that every time?

I logged back in right after the crash. I didn't wait.Jabantiz wrote:As you were able to create a character on the emu server that narrows the problem down to minilogin being out of date, will look into that.

I just tried again this morning. I made it into the game world, then got kicked back to the character select screen. I tried to get back into the game, and the client crashed.

Wanted everyone to know that there is an update to the ServerPack. Here is the download link and I have also added it along with the information about the update on the OP.

It seems to work for me. Of course I still have all the other broken bits though.Cynnar wrote:Wanted everyone to know that there is an update to the ServerPack. Here is the download link and I have also added it along with the information about the update on the OP.
Something happened to my order of DoV, the order seems to have vanished. I have another order in, and should have it soon.

Re: EQ2Emulator ServerPack
Glad it is working, and that stinks about your DoV order. Hope the next one makes it.

Re: EQ2Emulator ServerPack
I posted some initial struct in this post, it should have also made it to public svn by now. Won't fix everything but it does fix the random color/rain issue.Jalister wrote:It seems to work for me. Of course I still have all the other broken bits though.![]()

Re: EQ2Emulator ServerPack
Thanks to Amitiu for pointing out that the downloads links were not working. For some reason you had to be logged into box.com to actually download the ServerPack. I have move the files over to dropbox and updated the original post with the new links.

Hello, awesome work!
Sadly I have no client for build 12317L.
May I ask you to update the repack to the live client?
Thanks pal!!!

Re: EQ2Emulator ServerPack
I just updated the DB patcher with opcodes for the live client (just patched a few hours ago) so if your server is set up to connect to the DB patcher (no clue on default settings for the server packs as I have nothing to do with them) it will download those the next time you run the server. This will allow you to get into the world but there might be some struct issues, I fixed the main one in character sheet and put it up on dev svn so when it hits public svn (sun or mon) you just need to grab the worldstructs.xml and replace the one your server is using.

Re: EQ2Emulator ServerPack
First make sure you grab the update for the server pack download link (4.7MB) and unzip into your server dir. (eg: C:\EQ2Emulator-ServerPack)rovatok wrote:Hello, awesome work!

In the tools folder is a file called LoginServer_Update_Current_DB.ini. Edit this to add in your account name and password you get when you created a server account. If you have not yet created a server account then you can do so here. Your server will not show up on the public login server picker, but you need this Server Account to authenticate to the Live Database Update Service provided by the project. Then copy this file to your C:\EQ2Emulator-ServerPack\worldserver folder (whatever your drive letter may be) and name it LoginServer.ini. You will need to delete the original LoginServer.ini before renaming, but there is a copy of the Minilogin version of LoginServer.ini also in Tools to recover later.
This will allow you to run EQ2World.exe and get the datbase updates from the db patcher.

Re: EQ2Emulator ServerPack
Thanks. I have problem with the client. After i Edit the eq2_default.ini to 127.0.0.1 i get the following error:
Everquest ii has detected an unrecoverable error and must shut down. (verify) g:\live\eq2\game\client\scr\clientapp (3909): No game assets found. Please launch game from the pancser. 011cf109
With the original default ini the client start without error.
What could be the problem? Please help me... Thanks
