Dropping Support for RoK & TSO Clients

Post by LENTIE » Sat Feb 13, 2016 12:24 pm

Hello everyone,

After several years of playing EQ1 on the EZ-private server, I was seeking out for a server for EQ2.
Ik found this site and was very enthousiatic till I installed the official EQ2 (Daybreak) and tweaked it as explained on this website.
When logging in, the game is asking me for a name, loging, character and worldname, so I presume this is not emulator I was linked to :?:

When reading some of this forum I learned that I should install the version 'Destiny of Velious' but unfortunately Daybreak let me only install the very last version ' Terrors of Thalumbra'. Can I downgrade or something or downloading somewhere one of the older expansions ?

What should I do in order to play with you guys ?

Kind regards,

ALRAZOR (Belgium)

When running everquest2.exe directly that is what you get to log in, all you need to do is fill out the username and pass that you set up here, you can leave world and character blank, those would just allow you to skip the char select and go straight into the world server.

Hi Jabantiz,

Thanks for your smooth answer.
I followed your instructies, but got following error : LOGIN REJECTED : INVALID USERNAME OR PASSWORD. PLEASE TRY AGAIN.
And I am sure I entered the same username and password as I use to enter this forum/website.

Any ideas ?

Kind regards,
ALRAZOR

It is not the forum user/pass, you need to create a login user pass, the link is on the left, Account Management, create a user pass there and you should be able to log into the emu server.

Hello Jabantiz,

It's just fine now, I've managed to enter the game.
Can I find some information on this forum how to play, manual, etc.. ? Are there any quests ?

With kind regards,

ALRAZOR

Split and moved to general support.

Frostfang is the current zone that we have complete with quests, other zones are being worked on but with our small team it is slow going so for now frostfang is pretty much it.

Hello Jabanitz,

Thanks for your feedback.
In the meantime I've took my first steps in Frostfang and met the COW :)

I must say that the game lags from time to time.

With kind regards,

ALRAZOR
