QuestParser

Post by Jabantiz » Thu Jul 09, 2015 12:55 am

This little app will parse the quest info on census.daybreakgames.com and generate a lua script. As we are unable to determine the type of quest step from the provided data you will get a pop up for every step asking what type it is. The script is not perfect and will need some tweaks, mainly adding in the ID's, but should speed up quest script creation and help those who are not familiar with lua scripting. All you do is add the exact quest name in the text box and hit parse, I personally get the quest name from eq2.wikia.com

You can find the app on the tools svn
EXE

VS 2013 community (basically express renamed with more features). I was forced to upgrade for something else and 2012 and 2013 did not work well together so had to get rid of 2012.

I hope you come back, to much work for just Cynnar and me lol. As always feel free to send me a pm with any questions and I will answer them as soon as I can.
