Picking the correct loot

Post by Gangrenous » Sun Jan 08, 2017 2:58 pm

Maybe we can brain storm here. Okay, lets say I am doing a lizards loot. It is supposed to drop reptile meat. Now Alla says that meat is 25% likely to drop to meat. I am thinking it is probably more like 12% with a possible drop rate of 2 pieces, that is just my opinion. Now the actual meat, well hell there are over 10 different ID numbers. How are we supposed to know which one, and better yet, why is there over 10 types?

Because live would drop the same generic item across tiers but the meat from a lvl 10 and the meat from a lvl 90 lizard would have a different price, so they made a new item with a higher price. So you can set 10 different prices for the meat in this case.

if you can still get on live, find a bunch of [meat] and /say [meat] to get the id numbers and see what a merchant gives for each ??

or are we missing a connection between live and emu id numbers?

Items table should have the soe id from when we collected, if anything changed on the item from CoE to now the id will also have changed.

There really is no way to figure it out from the data we have so honestly I would just say the lowest id is tier 1 and the highest id is tier 10.
