I seen the post where EverQuest Landmark is shutting down. Here is the post.

i thought i remembered a post about them doing that 8ish months ago.

They shut down EQ Next and split landmark off and even dropped the EQ name making it its own thing a little less then a year ago. Landmark was never going to survive on its own though, was only so much people could do in it and it was suppose to be a part of EQ Next so I assume a bunch of people left when that was canceled. Still sad to see another mmo shut down.

ok, i remember now. i never played it at all but it looked kind of interesting to design stuff from the videos i watched

If you look at the steam activity on it, it was destined to be shutdown.

Yeah it's too bad.. but hopefully they will salvage EQN work and put into EQ3?
