Agnarr

Post by Twyn » Tue Jun 20, 2017 11:46 am

OK, who's playing on Agnarr?

I started playing on day one, and I have just now gotten my main character to lvl 22... This includes some pretty serious grinding on my part... Like 2-3 hours, 2 nights a weeks.

As you are no doubt aware, by law, as a Canadian I am required to spend the majority of my spare time polishing my Wayne Gretzky memorabilia, drinking Molson Canadian and watching SCTV reruns.

I don't play on live anymore. Haven't since around 2012/2013. In fact I don't care to log on for comparison of spawns, but I do once in a while. :)

How do you get the Wayne Gretzky memorabilia polished if you are busy watching SCTV reruns? Then again I don't guess it matters after drinking quite a bit of the Molson Canadian.

Is everyone who works on this emu just as insane as you and John? How can you enjoy working on a game, but not enjoy playing the game? It makes no sense to me... it's like enjoying cooking, but hating food... Liking porn, but hating sex...

Could this emu be replaced by another project which involves disseminating and recreation of processes based on logs? Like, would ya'll be just as happy recreating Windows based on BSOD and event viewer logs?

Just trying to wrap my head around it... ya'll are like those Linux peeps who spend hours and hours writing code for zero money just because they enjoy the community, contributing to advancement of technology and padding their resume... I do appreciate their efforts, but dayum... there's so many other things to do with your time... Hang out with family, read a book, masturbate, eat, go outside, squeeze one off, watch a movie, rub one out, go camping, go hiking, spank the monkey, nap, go for a bike ride, visit with friends, fire off a few knuckle babies, chase butterflies, volunteer at the local food bank, beat the meat... What i'm saying is jerking off is awesome, and should be done as often as possible...

:)

HEY! I resemble that remark! Can't speak for John though.

Who said we enjoy it? In fact if John wasn't such a demanding boss... You know what!! I should turn in my 2 weeks notice! Really I don't like going back and doing it all over again. It's boring to me if I have already completed something, and have to go back and do it again.

Maybe this is why it's taking so long on the project...

I haven't seen one of these in a while. Now they will start appearing again. THANKS! Back to formatting ever other weekend. :sigh

Er... I can see your point, but it'd be from a distance. I've never been huge into the end game of any MMO... Never really liked raids (too much time), or high levels groups (Everyone is so uber 1337, full of themselves and zero fun to play with). I've always been several expansions behind everyone else, so I haven't "experienced it all".

Maybe this run will be the one where I kill all the raid bosses, I hear with instancing, raids are down to about 2 hours once everyone is organized.

I actually love sex, but hate porn... since you mentioned it that way.

I enjoy video games but not as much as the possibilities of forming something new and exciting.

But, I didn't say it like that. It'd be like putting the cart in front of the horse.

Society needs people like you. Industrious, creative, pushing the limits, defining new frontiers one day and then destroying those those boundaries the next as you push forward into the unknown... I just want my burrito, my laptop and my bottle of rye whiskey. Boundaries and frontiers sound far away; too much walking. :D
