adding collection items

Post by Ememjr » Mon Aug 28, 2017 4:08 pm

so i was working on collection items for live client once again
and of course the add button does not work on live client, but does work in DOV client
i have looked at packets from dov, and live and it appears it works the same, ie when add is pressed it triggers a Remote_command_msg(44)

the problem is with live client and emu i cannot find any remote command msg for collection_additem in the packet log server

are there situations where a packet would be ignored for a remote cmd

well i am getting the issue narrowed down,
it appears the issue may actually be in the WS_updateinventory struct
as shown below, if you look at the 4th yellow highlight is shows that item_id is 699338969(D9 10 AF 29) but
the item id for that item is actually 417200971 (4B FB DD 18) which is actually starts 6 bytes prior circled in blue
now i have to figure out what those other fields really are

Yeah i will post the fix later tonight after the opcodes are done, but i finally got it fixed and it did have to do with the above post and the update inventory struct
